George Marinescu (1989) and Maria Daria Oancea (1987) have been working together since 2015, developing an architecture practice focused on mutations regarding public space, living conditions, property and land use, as manifested in the everyday life of the city. Founded as a dual practice: a design studio and a non-governmental organization, their works engage with situations associated with social and spatial vulnerability, dealing with informal or planned aspects of architecture.

Biography

Daria Maria Oancea – Founding partner, architect
(Ploiești, 1987) studied at “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest (2012) and at the IUAV University in Venice (2010). She is a former fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart (2020).

George Marinescu – Founding partner, architect
(Bucharest, 1989) studied at “Ion Mincu” University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest (2015) and at the IUAV University in Venice (2014). He is a former fellow at Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart (2020).
