The Carusel NGO supports the General Directorate of Social Assistance by organizing the temporary night shelter at ODESA. For this purpose, it was necessary to develop a spatial, functional and technical scenario for the use of the 40 already purchased containers, as well as to establish a way of assembling them on the site of the old company ” Tramvaiul Nou “, site previously used as a tram depot.

The project proposes a scenario of use that applies the operating principles tested by Carusel in other night shelters previously organized for winter months, carrying out activities involving a series of control, selection and distribution steps that ensure the safety and comfort of both the homeless people and the organizational staff that consists mostly of volunteers.
