Gallery house, Brăila

A hidden house, invisible from the street, discovered through an interior path. The proposed extension captures the interiority of this typology of housing and articulates the connection of the interior spaces with those of the garden by defining the interior garden.

The compact surface of the new building leads to a use of space that remains open to with multiple scenarios. The cooking area is a garden-oriented niche, accessible from the common room and each of the two rooms has its own entrance form the garden, ilustrating the unusual privacy of the enclosure.
