AVANPOST TATABÁNYA

The project inserts itself in the center of the Mésztelep community, Tatabánya, a former neighborhood made for the nearby stone quarry workers.

The intervention adds a new use of the ex-demolished bus station, in order to create a space that can be used daily by the community and at the events organized by the PAD association, an NGO that works with people in the neighborhood to prevent evacuation, discrimination, and marginalization, while also supporting their rights to have access to public facilities.
