The purchase of a small plot of land next to the family parcel led to the design of a garden and a summer pavilion that would benefit an extended family with intimacy and collective activities.
A linear covered passage links two areas of the garden, different in material and use and gathers a succession of moments of transition that define areas of intimacy and spaces for collective activities. The existing house is reconfigured inside and outside by small interventions that open it to the garden and “re-place” it on the ground, creating proximity links with the places around it.
